Investors giving up a large portion of the supply in just one shot sounds pretty dire for any cryptocurrency. However, this is not the case with the Shiba Inu.
The circulation of meme currency is more than 400 trillion. SHIB has gained fame as a victim of its own investors. And they can still follow the trend.
Will SHIB holders sell tokens?
SHIB holders have been known to hoard tokens when the price of the Shiba Inu falls. But whenever the price of Shiba Inu rises they immediately start selling.
All this has been seen before. And, at SHIB’s lowest level in 8 months, each increase from now on should be viewed as an opportunity to book profits. Knowing how eager SHIB holders are to profit, they will not refuse to give up the token.
Since SHIB has declined 64.3% over the past two months, investors have acquired approximately 1.02 trillion SHIB, worth $10.6 million. All this acquisition is accompanied by a willingness to sell the SHIB token when it begins its bullish rally.
The volatility of SHIB often allows the cryptocurrency to see dramatic jumps and deep losses every day. Unfortunately, all signs are currently headed towards a declining price. This is because the rally lost momentum a few days ago, giving the bears more power.
The Shiba Inu suffered its worst one-day loss in more than a year on May 31. This was the same when SHIB 3.71 trillion was invested in losses in the transaction.
This has greatly discouraged investors from getting involved on-chain. This has created a problem for SHIB as it definitely needs its investors.
See a sharp drop in Shiba Inu transactions
The participation of SHIB holders began to decline as prices began to drop after the May ATH. As a result, the number of transactions has decreased dramatically. At the time of writing, transactions have dropped from an average of around 70k to barely 4.5k.
As a result, investors have lost commitment to the development of the Shiba Inu. Therefore, it is quite possible that 1 trillion SHIB purchased will be sold. Especially considering that it represents less than 0.25% of the total supply.
