Ambitious crypto enthusiast hopes Elon Musk and Vitalik Buterin will work together to improve Dogecoin in the future
- “I think we will all see Vitalik and Elon working together on DOGE”
- This Is Why Vitalik and Musk Won’t Work on Bitcoin, Per Gochstein
Crypto podcaster and Gokshtein Media founder David Gokshtein has shared with his followers that he hopes Ethereum co-founder and Twitter boss Elon Musk will join forces and start working together to upgrade Dogecoin.
He is sure that these two crypto space behemoths will not work together on bitcoin.
“I think we will all see Vitalik and Elon working together on DOGE”
Gokhshtein expects Musk and Buterin to join forces on Dogecoin. He was probably led to believe this because the co-founder of Ethereum was already making comments about the original Meme token, suggesting that it should switch to a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm.
I think we’ll all see Vitalik and Elon working together to upgrade somehow $ DOGE,— David Gokhshtein (@davidgokhshtein) November 25, 2022
As reported by U.Today, he suggested a year ago in September 2021 that Ethereum code could easily be used for that transition. In September this year, Vitalik mentioned it again At the cryptocurrency summit Mainnet 2022, where he appeared not in person but using an internet connection.
The switch to PoS is also mentioned on Dogecoin’s trailmap. In fact, Vitalik has the legal authority to make such suggestions not only as an observer and co-creator of Ethereum, but also as a member of the Dogecoin Foundation, which he joined in the summer of 2021. The transition to proof of stake is expected in mid-September this year.
At the time, his father, Dmitry Buterin, tweeted that Vitalik joining the foundation was definitely a good thing as it could help make DOGE a “better coin”.
In addition, Vitalik Buterin has donated large amounts of DOGE to the Dogecoin Foundation several times. The last time he did so was in November, when he sent him 20 million of these Mem coins.
As for Musk, he’s already making efforts to improve DOGE – or so he tweeted in May last year. Now that it has acquired Twitter, it is expected by Doge Army to integrate Dogecoin for micropayments on this social media platform.

This Is Why Vitalik and Musk Won’t Work on Bitcoin, Per Gochstein
In a comment on his own tweet, David Gochstein confidently stated that Elon Musk would have no interest in working with Vitalik Buterin or anyone else on the flagship cryptocurrency bitcoin.
Gochstein believes this is because Musk wants to turn DOGE, created as a joke, into “something serious”.
they will not work #bitcoin – Well because Vitalik tried in the past and got kicked out and Elon is interested in turning something that serious into a joke.— David Gokhshtein (@davidgokhshtein) November 25, 2022
