Ripple has added two new lawyers to its legal team
Blockchain company Ripple has added two Kellogg Hansen lawyers to its team to strengthen its legal team.
Kylie Chiseul Kim and Clayton J. Masterman, the two newly added attorneys, will represent one of the top cryptocurrency players in his protracted battle against the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Judge Annalisa Torres has granted her respective motions for admission to practice Pro HAC Vice in the above case.
The addition of new lawyers suggests that the legal proceedings can be extended.Last month, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse told Axios that his company would leave the US if the court ruled in favor of the SEC.
In April, Garlinghouse said the company was acting “as if it had already lost” its focus on other markets.
Ripple Labs General Counsel Stuart Alderotti said a proposal is likely to come in 2023.
