Polkadot Decoded, the annual convention of the global Polkadot community, will take place on June 29 and 30 in four global cities. The global Polkadot community is excited about this event, and it promises to be engaging and informative.
The event will also have several side events, as well as a rolling live stream that anyone can watch. More than 100 speakers are scheduled to participate, and will cover a range of topics at the four venues.

While Buenos Aires is the main venue for Polkadot Decoded in Latin America, there will be a big party in Mexico City. For anyone interested in attending Buenos Aires, the summit will take place at the Si Complejo Art Media Center in the Chacarita district.
In Buenos Aires, most of the content will be presented in Spanish, which will be great for anyone who wants to participate and needs Spanish content to do so. In addition, some other local communities have secured the right to host side events, which were accomplished through an on-chain voting process.
Some unofficial events are also planned, and anyone who wants to live stream the official or unofficial side event can watch.
This will be the first Polkadot decoded to have live participation, as the first two were limited to online participation, due to the lockdown or other COVID19 measures that have paralyzed the global economy.
Dr. Gavin Wood will speak!
Polkadot’s founder, Dr. Gavin Wood, will be speaking at an event in New York as well as an event in Buenos Aires. He is responsible for making Polkadot a reality, and his insight is valuable.
Polkadot Parachain Moonbeam will be in charge of the New York program. The team at Moonbeam has created an amazing two-day event that will take place at Webster Hall, a venue in Manhattan’s East Village.
In addition to Dr. Wood, New York attendees will hear from Adam Carver of BitGreen, Menta Networks, Parallel Finance, Ekla & Equilibrium and Shawn Tabrizi of Parity.
