The two-week hackathon will bring together developers from around the world to build the next generation of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) for the Cardano ecosystem powered by the Milkomeda sidechain.
As a Project Catalyst initiative, there is a total of $45,000 in prize money to win.
5 challenges to perfecting the DAO protocol
The event included five challenges: UI for DAO, Tooling for DAO, Social DAO, DeFi DAO, and Bootstrapping DAO. Each challenge aims to improve existing DAO protocols, expand on UX, and empower the developer community to create creative tooling.
The hackathon invites developers to Web3 who are interested in creating new tools and solutions for decentralized governance in Cardano. Deciding criteria include technical implementation, design, potential future impact, development and pitch.
