Due to the high level of interest among developers, Lisk has decided to extend its grant program for a second round. Lisk is a big believer in fostering excellent ideas and potential teams to accelerate blockchain adoption. As a result, the expanding Lisk Grant program continues to provide startup teams with all the tools they need to succeed in today’s rapidly changing world.
The Lisk grant is spearheading Lisk’s efforts to help future generations of blockchain programmers. In addition, the impending 5th wave of the program will continue to allow connectivity across the domain.
Blockchain and the vast array of decentralized apps and services have expanded at an alarming pace, dramatically transforming current businesses. Lisk’s grant program has been extended to accommodate growth as well as to respond to developers’ strong interest in joining the program.
The fifth wave of this program started on May 23 and will last for three months. Allocates $1.3 million in total funding to encourage outstanding startup teams and their innovative technologies.
Risk Grant Program: How Will Startup Teams Benefit From It?
It’s also worth noting that teams can think of several possible categories of blockchain projects that want to build apps for NFTs, DAOs, oracles, stablecoins, and more. Essentially, the initiative embraces any outstanding concept that can contribute to blockchain development.
Ultimately, all copyrights and licenses developed through the Lisk Grant Program remain with program employees. The previously existing project inspired other participants to set up their own blockchain initiatives, and as shown in the previous wave, Lisk has provided excellent support for developers. What are the most interesting Lisk projects?

Lisk Grant Application Requirements:
- Enthusiastic startup: Lisk will not fund any blockchain projects that will become obsolete in the near future. The idea you propose should be functional in the real world and have notable uses.
- Pitch Your Idea: You could say this is the most important step, as you will be interacting with the Lisk team and giving descriptive details about your project.
- Be informed: Blockchain applications really need to be built with the latest Lisk SDK, and all code must be open-source software. If you have good reasons not to open-source particular aspects of your work, contact the Lisk team.
Please remember, that the Risk Grant Program will be open until August 21st, 2022!
