Dogecoin and Moscow
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is the highest-profile supporter of Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency launched in 2013. The cryptocurrency, which has inspired many others using the Shiba Inu dog logo, became very popular in late 2020 and 2021 following Musk’s comments.
During the bull run, DOGE price rose to a high of 73 cents.
But Musk’s endorsement of the meme coin has led to a class action lawsuit in the US accusing the billionaire’s tweets and comments of promoting a pyramid scheme.
But Musk recently said he never asked anyone to buy the cryptocurrency, while simultaneously vowing to continue supporting the development of the Dogecoin blockchain and ecosystem.
